We had friends in Phoenix that had a bomb shelter (remember those days when we practiced hiding under desks . . . I'm sure that would have REALLY helped us if our school did get hit by a BOMB) ... anyway, I was just as fascinated with that shelter as you were with the storm cellar. We always loved to play in the bomb shelter when we went to visit. It sounds like it was a very touching celebration! I love the picture of the stained glass and the story of the chapel at the cemetary! Why not?!? I'm so glad that you were all a part of it!
