 Happy Mother's Day!

Sheila Shannon was an impressive woman. I have several favorite memories of her. She was a very kind and caring person. She was a devout educator and spent her life ensuring student’s received what they needed. She had a sense of humor that was amazing. I am going to offer two of my favorite memories. After I graduated, we went on a trip to Ireland. This is where the blog started. We spent ten days driving through the country.  It was an amazing trip. My other favorite memory was the times we went to the cabin. She was always so brave there and it was inspiring. The last time we went together, we took my two dogs. The drive down was interesting as I have to drug my dogs during long car rides. She accidentally took the wrong medication that knocked her out. This was a four hour drive. Two pugs and a mom that were passed out the entire time. That was the last vacation that just she and I took together. It was a wonderful experience, I will always remember. She broke boundaries and was extremely brave. She was such an important person to so many. We all miss her and love her.

Hello to everyone. I am not the creative or effective writer that my mother was. However, I wanted to post for her today as it is the sixth month since her passing. Sheila was such a gifted soul. She fought for what she believed in and stood up for education. She was an amazing person and is missed by so many. She will be forever in so many of hearts. Cheers to Sheila's life and all the memories many of us have of her.
